What happens if you put nair (for legs) on your face?

please help! i accidently put nair (meant for legs & body) on my face and it burns! i have moderately senative skin and my skin tone is light. im only fourteen and i had a lot of facial hair trying to get rid of side burns and hair on the edges of my mouth. i didn't know! i thought it'd be fine and now it burns! i dont want to have any scars or burn marks and if i am going to get any how do i prevent them! ugh i will never do this again!
