Should I buy an ereader?

I love reading and never thought about getting an ereader. Now both of the book stores moderately close to me closed. I currently order books online an am a Borders plus member. Are ereaders good? Are they like books or computers, I cant stand staring at computers for to long. Sooooo, should I buy an ereader? If yes, what type?
